Introduction

Timeball (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a mobile application for tennis clubs and coaches to run live in-person sessions — court time, rounds, stats, and player ratings.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Timeball app or related services, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Timeball app
• Sync sessions, ratings, and roster data across your devices and club members
• Send sign-in and account-related emails, and optional player invites you request
• Respond to support requests
• Improve the app, fix bugs, and keep the service secure

How we store and protect data

Timeball uses Supabase, a hosted cloud platform, for authentication and data storage. Your information is stored on secure servers and transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to safeguard information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not run ads or share your data with advertisers.

We may share information only with service providers that help us operate the app — for example, cloud hosting and authentication — and only as needed to provide the service. Those providers are required to protect your data.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Timeball, our users, or others.

Retention

We keep your information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us (see Contact below). Some information may be retained where we are legally required to do so.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under local law. Contact us and we will respond in a reasonable timeframe.

California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know, delete, and opt out of certain sharing. Contact us at hello@timeball.app to exercise these rights.

• Access — you can view much of your information directly in the app
• Correction — you can update account, club, and roster details in the app
• Deletion — contact us to request account or data deletion
• Email — you can opt out of non-essential emails by contacting us; account-related messages may still be sent when necessary

Children

Timeball is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Payments

The Timeball app is currently free to use. We do not collect or store payment card information in the app.

If we introduce paid subscription features in the future, purchases will be processed through the Apple App Store (or another payment provider we disclose at that time). We will update this policy when billing is available.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
